Dennis is a Manager within KPMG’s cyber response practice. He assists clients with incident response needs (e.g., ransomware attacks, network intrusions, etc.) including incident readiness and planning services. He has 8 years of DFIR experience, has worked over 30 ransomware cases including RYUK, LockerGoga, Conti, and LockBit/LockBit 2.0 variants, and worked on various cases where attackers leveraged PowerShell Empire, PowerSploit, Cobalt Strike, Trickbot, Bazar, IcedID, Qbot, and/or various 0-day exploits (e.g., ProxyShell, Nobelium, Hafnium, etc.). Dennis is GCFE, GCFA, Splunk and SentinelOne certified. He has used his experience to assist clients with threat hunting activities and train/develop SOC analysts. He has experience performing Windows and Linux investigations and was a part of the team that investigated the SolarWinds incident.
